Ahhh... Dinner...

Well, I got the ok for some non clear liquids and a light dinner. I feel like a new woman with food in my belly. I am still having regular contractions. I am aiming for a 8 pm bedtime with some sleeping medicine tonight. Craig is camped out in his chair and we are hoping for some shut eye. Hopefully this baby will not be ready to party tonight at 1 am like it has in the past! Here are a few pictures from the past few hours. You can see that I really enjoyed my root beer. A welcomed change from ginger ale and sprite.

Craig and I would also like to say what wonderful staff we have had here so far. It is amazing how many nurses have been in and out of our rooms and they have ALL been so helpful, understanding, informative, and attentive. It is so comforting to know we are in good hands!

  1. Looks like you have everything under control. Tell Craig that those chairs are OK but sitting for longer than a couple of hours is hard on your butt. Thinking and praying for you and baby. Sleep well if you can.

  2. Hey Emily, it's Marcia's friend, Amy. Just wanted to say that I'm thinking of you guys and praying for you. Hope you get some sleep tonight. Hang in there!

  3. We couldn't see Craig's feet in the recliner, but our guess is -- it's a good thing he also has a bed! The doctors may have given Baby Hardin a "C" today, but s/he will be an "A+" for the rest of his/her life! We are praying for the three of you.

  4. laying in bed can be a real drag... be sure to have craig stretch and rub you so that you aren't sore from laying... that ended up being my biggest complaint in labor. the pushing was easy, but my shoulders were seizing up on me because I had been laying in an uncomfortable bed for 2 days. stay limber!!
