32 Weeks!

I am 32 weeks today! I am very happy to have made it this far. Please keep us in your prayers this week. We are very anxious because this is the week my water broke with Kay and I began my hospital bed rest.

My sister-in-law introduced me to the sweetest song. It brought back so many memories about Kay. If you have ever had a preemie or known a preemie I highly recommend listening to it (with several tissues nearby). Hummingbird Heart by Mary Johnson Rockers.

As Kay says...keep on growing Peanut Butter!

Best Rest...

Well, I am back on bed rest.  My doctor is monitoring me closely and is doing everything possible to keep this baby in as long as possible.  I am bored, but I know it is worth it!  I am so happy Bill and Gail are here for the next couple weeks to help entertain Kay and keep me company.  I will post pictures of their adventures around Hong Kong when I get a chance... Everyone pray this baby stays in as long as possible!!

1/2 of daddy...

We took Kay to the doctor last Saturday for an ear infection. Poor girl was miserable. We went to a new doctor because I am still trying to find one that I am happy with (especially with new baby arriving soon). Kay had her weight and height taken because it was a new office. She was 3 feet 3 inches tall. Exactly half of her dad who is 6 ft 6 inches. She thought it was cool to be 1/2 of daddy!

We have been having some funny discussions recently. It is amazing to watch her brain process everything.

Tonight's bedtime discussion:

Kay: "Who gave me this lotion?"
Me: "Cece's daddy"
Kay: "Why did Cece's daddy give me lotion?"
Me: "Cece's daddy works at a company that makes lotion just like your daddy works at a company that makes lights"
Kay: ....deep in thought... "Wow"

Scott and Annelise Visit!

We were so happy to have Craig's brother and wife visit us in Hong Kong.  We kept them very busy and showed them all around our favorite parts of Hong Kong.  We did not carry our camera much, but here are a few pictures from my phone.  We enjoyed showing them some of our favorite restaurants.  We took them to sample some traditional Chinese tea.  The ladies had an afternoon of a chocolate treats and tea at the Ritz, foot massages/pedicures, and a visit to the tailors in Shenzen.  Lots of fun!
