Changing Table Progress

There has been some progress made on the changing table. Craig and my dad said they will have it all glued and ready to be painted on Sunday. We will see... So far it is looking really great. I was able to put the baskets on it to get an idea of what it will look like when it is completed. Mom and I need to get busy sewing the new basket liners!

Week 17

I am almost to my 18th week. Here is an updated picture. I spent Friday night at my friend Lindsay's house. It was really nice to see her and spend some time together. Craig is at a guys golf weekend this weekend. Unfortunately it rained the entire time; he still had a great time though. My friend Anna and I went to Babies R Us for the first time. We test drove all the strollers and looked at all the baby gear. I have not been looking forward to going because I thought it would be very overwhelming. It ended up being fun and I am now looking forward to getting some stuff for the baby.

Cheri and Shane...

UPDATE: Adaline Kelly Brown was born early Saturday morning (2/14/2009). Although she is 2 months early mom and baby are both doing well. I can't wait to meet her!

Please keep our friends Cheri and Shane in your prayers over the next few days. Cheri is 30 weeks pregnant, but her water broke last night. They are in the hospital playing the waiting game now...

One of those weeks...

I have been fighting off some kind of bug over the past few days.  I think I am finally starting to get over it.  I am glad because I know that this baby is hungry, but I haven't been able to keep much down!  It is supposed to be 60 + this weekend so I am hoping some fresh air and sunshine will help!

My dad is working on designing the changing table for the nursery.  It will be special for the baby to have something designed/made by their grandpa.  I will post pictures as the project continues.  My mom and I found some baskets that will be perfect for the changing table (we had plans of using the liner as a template and making our own to match the room).  When I brought them home Craig said "they look great...but they are for a girl".  Mom and I both laughed because we hadn't explained about our plan for the pink liners yet.
