Labor Day

We went to the mountains with several (21) family friends.  We all stayed in one house and the kids loved it!  It was so much fun to see them all together.  We had six little ones under the age of six.  No, there was not really ever a moment of silence.  We arrived almost last (as usual) and were greeted by the entire group cheering us on up the driveway.  We had been warned the driveway was VERY steep and gravel.  You needed to basically floor the gas all the way up to make it.  This was Craig's best case scenario.  He had excuse to gun it on gravel and not get yelled at (yes, he is older than 16 although not by much :)!!)    We still did not make it all the way up so we had to reverse down the mountain in the pitch black pouring rain and try again.  We made it up the second try.  Craig got the award in the group for making it up the furthest on the first try!  It was very entertaining to watch!  After making it up, I decided I was not leaving again and we hung out in the house and relaxed the rest of the weekend!

Do you see Kay laughing and pointing in all the pictures?  This is what she was looking at.  Wouldn't you laugh and point too?
