Well, the word is out! Craig and I are expecting a new addition to our family early August. We found out right before Thanksgiving and kept the secret until Christmas when we told our immediate family. After our 12 week ultra sound we decided to start letting extended family and friends know the big news. We were out of town and had a bunch of family around that we really didn't get to let the news "set-in" until we had a mini celebration for ourselves. On December 5, 2008 Craig and I had a "sparkling cider" toast to celebrate. Our first date together was December 6, 2001. Things have changed since then! We used our wedding champagne flutes and had tasty deserts from a bakery in downtown Apex. We had dinner with my parents right before and boy was it hard to keep the secret!!
