7-11

"Mommy, where are all the 7-11s here?"  Kay asked me this at the dinner table this week. In Hong Kong you can do everything at one (pay bills, refill public transportation card, buy snacks, wine, lunch, etc)  You could find one on every block. I love hearing the random things she remembers from Hong Kong!

Kay is 4!

How did that happen?  It seems like yesterday when we were sitting in the hospital with our tiny 4 lb 11 oz baby girl.  Kay is 34 lbs (43%) and 42 inches (91%).  Kay is really into pretend play these days.  She has been working really hard on jumping on one leg.  She picks out her clothes and dresses herself everyday.  Time is going by too fast!

Happy Father's Day!

We had a special weekend together as a family.  Craig decided he wanted to go to the makers fair with his girls.  He had a great time teaching Kay about all the technology that was there.  As always, this led to a project in our living room.  A fun noodle rocket launcher is in the works...

Speaking of projects, project convert deep freezer into keg-orator is complete.   Now, our garage is filled with project fermentor.

Kay made Craig a "beer holder" at her school.  She is very proud every time Craig uses it.

4 Generations...

GG was here!

We all love when GG comes to town!  I feel so blessed that my girls have a great grandma.  My great grandma (GG's mom) lived to be 103.  I was fortunate to have a great grandmother in my 20s.  The girls had a great time giggling and playing with GG.  Grandma's really are the best...

Marissa's Baptism...

What a special day!  June 9, 2013.  Marissa wore the same dress that Kay and I wore for our baptisms.  My mom embroidered our names and dates on it.  Marissa didn't cry a tear despite being very hungry and tired.  I think she knew it was a special day!
