Marissa is 4 Months Old!

Kay wanted to help put on Marissa's sticker (why it is sideways) this time.  As I type this, Marissa is almost five months (oops! a little behind).  Marissa got the "ok" to go to bottle bootcamp so she spent the day with Grandma.  17 hours later and she had still not taken more than a few ounces.  We have FAILED again at the bottle.  The night after spending the day with Grandma she was up ALL night eating because she was so hungry.  At her four month doctor appointment Marissa was:

Weight:  12 pounds 4 oz (15%)
Height: 25.4 inches (50%)
Head: 39.9 cm (25%)

Craig had to travel for work and I had both girls on my own for the first time.  A couple of the days, I had friends in town which helped.  Marissa took her first road trip with me.  We had a "child-free" baby shower for one of my friends in Charlotte.  Marissa joined in the fun because she would not take a bottle.  She has learned how to squeal and does it all the time now!  Very cute!  As a second kid she gets dragged along on Kay's schedule.  She hardly ever gets to nap in her crib because I always have to wake her up to drop off/pick up Kay.  She is good at catching a snooze anywhere!

Friends...

I had some of my college friends in town for a baby shower.  Lindsay is expecting a little boy in a few months. We hung out at our house for a few days and then headed to Charlotte to throw her a shower. Kay had a blast showing Will all of her toys.

519 Easter Egg Hunt...

Kay and her friends Grabre and James enjoyed the Easter Egg hunt at our church.  It was freezing cold, but the kids still had fun!

Marissa meets Great Aunt Pat...

Aunt Pat was very sweet and brought us dinner and ice cream.  Marissa and Kay loved getting snuggles!

The Girls...

We sent this picture to Craig to cheer him up when he was working late one night.

Are you done yet?

Kay loves her sister!   Marissa is in a constant hug, kiss, snuggle, or conversation. It is cute to watch them interact. Marissa is so patient but I can only imagine what is running through her head. I think she is saying "are you done yet" often!
