Kay is 10 months old! We have been busy this month. Over the past week she has transitioned from doing a backwards scoot to getting up on her hands and knees and rocking. It is only a matter of time before she will be on the move. She is getting much better at standing with support as well. Kay is also finally big enough to take out the infant insert (head support) in the carseat.
She is currently working on cutting a tooth. I can see it just starting to poke through the surface. It looks like there might be a second one ready to come out too. This has made for some long days and nights since she is uncomfortable with the teething.
Kay is now eating in her booster seat and riding in the grocery cart. She is loving both. She gets to sit with mom and dad at the table now and watch the people go by at the store.
Kay got her first goose egg last week. She fell right into the corner of the baseboard when she decided she was done sitting up. You can see the remnants of it on her 10 month teddy bear pictures. Of course, it happened right when we were about to walk out the door to take her to the church nursery for the first time. I held ice on it in the car and the nursery staff said they would keep ice on it as well. She did great and will be returning again soon!
