It has begun...

I think we can officially say our house is transforming before our eyes away from being an "adult home". I went to this really great used baby sale at the fairgrounds last week and started getting some of the basics. My dad came to help carry stuff for me (for those of you who know this sale know that you need all the hands you can get). It was great fun having him there and we even picked up some stuff for grandma and grandpa's house. I have also had some wonderful friends give me stuff to use as well (thank you!!). As you can see by the picture above I need to clean it all and find a home for everything.

I think we have decided this is the room we will use for the nursery. Here is a before picture...

A kick??

For the past few days I have been feeling little "flutters". I thought it was in my head at first, but I keep feeling them. After consulting several others who have had babies already it was decided that it is possible and may not be just in my head. Exciting!

A Little Bump...maybe??..

Here is a picture from week seven and from week thirteen. I can tell that my clothes are fitting differently. I think it will be awhile before others can tell.

Baby Hardin's First Snow... sort of...

It snowed about 6 inches last week. We enjoyed some fun in the snow at our friend Hannah & Jimmy's house. Jimmy loves to cook like Craig so we had yummy snacks of hot chocolate and popcorn.

12 week ultrasound

This ultrasound was taken 1/14/09. It was really special for Craig and I. We got to see the baby kick and punch during the ultra sound. It is funny how between ultrasounds it went from a little "bean" to a little "bean" that moves!

9 week ultrasound

This is the ultrasound we had right before Christmas. We used the picture to tell my family at dinner the big news. We made a card for Charlie: "A playdate" for Great Grandma: "Another trip to North Carolina" and for Grandma and Grandma: "more hugs, snuggles, and kisses". When Grandma and Grandpa opened their card it had a picture of the ultrasound. I am sure it goes without saying there were a bunch of happy tears and hugs in celebration.

I'm learning...

I am still learning how to set-up this blog thing. Bear with me as I learn, change settings etc. I am going to try to keep it updated through the pregnancy and after the birth so friends and family who don't live nearby can keep up with our journey.
