Kay's 4th Birthday Party!
We had a busy weekend a few weekends ago. We had Kay's birthday party and Marissa's baptism in one weekend. This was Kay's first "real" party. She was excited to have her friends over. We decided on a pool party at our neighborhood park/pool. A tropical storm blew threw the day before and it was cloudy and rainy up to an hour before the party. I was so nervous about what we were going to do with everyone. One hour before the party, the clouds cleared and the sun came! We had a great time!! We played pass the parcel and had chocolate cupcakes with pink icing.
Marissa is 7 Months!
Marissa is 7 months old now. She can sit up for several minutes before getting tired and falling over. She can get across the room but rolling or pushing with her head. She is eating baby food two times a day and loving it. She giggles all the time especially at her sister. The other day I heard her screaming in her crib. She had somehow sat herself up and didn't know what to do. Marissa is doing a little better at daycare. She is still only sleeping about an hour throughout the day but she has started to eat at school without much protest. We are struggling with another early bird. She likes to wake up between 4 and 5:30. We usually don't get her out of the crib until 6:00 but by then she has woken up the entire house. We feel very blessed for our happy and healthy baby! Marissa is also starting to clap now. She is pretty proud when she figures it out.
Passports
Today at school Kay made passports. She told her teacher she did not need to make one because she already had two (a hello kitty that she carries and a real one that I carry). The teachers thought it was funny because none of the other kids knew what a passport was.

Food Fun...
We have been trying to on the porch a lot. A handy location because we are getting messy around here!
