We had to bring with us on the plane everything we would need for a month. We also had to bring any valuables, paperwork, etc. that we could not afford to loose. 12 bags plus a stroller, book bag, and purse later we were all packed for the airplane. We maximized our checked bags and carry ons. After loading the car, unloading onto a cart, getting the bags checked, getting through security with six carry on bags and a wiggly two year old, getting the bags at baggage claim, putting them on two carts, wheeling them through the airport at HK, loading them again into a van, unloading them into two trips up the elevator and into our flat...we were exhausted!

Getting Ready to Move...
Halloween...
Our wonderful friends organized a Halloween gathering for us to say goodbye one last time. Because we did not think we were going to be here, we had not planned anything! Thanks everyone for the great dinner and letting us borrow costumes! Kay really enjoyed going door to door and saying trick or treat. Her favorite house was Todd and Carla (our backdoor neighbors).
Goodbye Bakers!
We were fortunate to get to see Scott and Marcia one more time before moving away. Our trip got bumped a little so we got to celebrate GG’s 85th birthday all together. We took her out to dinner for pizza. It was a bit of a circus with three little ones all tired. We had the kids decorate the cake to buy time. Little did we know the icing was hard so the cake ended up being a masterpiece. We left a BIG tip after kay spilled water everywhere and three kids smashed cake. We survived and had a few good laughs!
Scott ran a half marathon Saturday morning. It was fun to all get to cheer him on together!
We also made sure to get one more four generation picture. Not sure how long it will be before we get another one.
